The CS3 icons released. If you ask my opinion, I like the earlier version… ohh I’ll miss Venus. http://blogs.adobe.com/jnack/2006

Just in case, if you’re wondering what I’m blabbering about. Adobe is getting ready for a Spring ’07 release of the CS3 Suite. Yup, that includes our sweet Photoshop. You can tryout the Beta version here.

Wow… what a year… 2006 surely flies fast. And I even got some mail saying that people indeed enjoy my blog. Looking back the year, one of the remarkable things to happen is my lovely wife. And while I keep off the blog, some of the stuff that are suffering are my portfolio site, my band site and of course my photography. I guess 2007 I’ll be regular.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.
Its that time of the year again. Theres nothing that beats a festive season.
“Oh look, yet another Christmas TV special! How touching to have the meaning of Christmas brought to us by cola, fast food, and beer… Who’d have ever guessed that product consumption, popular entertainment, and spirituality would mix so harmoniously?”

Merry Christmas.
When I first started out my career as a web/graphics designer, i started with designing for 800×600 screen resolution. And with bigger monitor replacing the smaller screens, wow it was bigger and better.
After attending the Studio 8 launch seminar, earlier this week, and its cool new features for mobile interactivty. And the non-standard screen sizes of handsets. And with mobiles phone, nowadays, doing everything, not to forget the rapid mobile technology evolving every second. I felt left behind. I even want my MTV on my cell phone :)
Heres a little link I found useful as an intro to web-on-mobile trend.

I’d always thought, what if I could get those images edited in Adobe Photoshop or the vector illustration from Adobe Illustrator could be imported directly to Macromedia Flash. Or those cool video compositions from Adobe After Effects optimize for web, convert to flv and voila. I hate to use Macromedia Fireworks except to create those drop down menus list. Why didn’t Photoshop had to features??
The list unending, for designer like us who’d to shuffle numerous application get things right. So when Adobe announces it decision to acquire Macromedia, does it solves my problem?
Hmmm !! interesting indeed. But then, they said todays enterprises are built out of acquisition. True/Flase. I say wait & watch. But I believe, we’re in for some great new features in all the tools we live-with everyday.
Back from home after attending my elder sister’s wedding in my hometown Imphal, manipur. Some photographs from my trip home updated in FlickR.

Ninjai – The Little Ninja, a flash movie series by a group of young stunt men by day and animators, musicians and artists by night. Amazing cinematography and music. I don’t want to categorize this as a flash movie, flash was just the medium that they’ve used.
WARNING: Scenes is quite gory, may not be suitable for kids.
